Bedtime

This blanket has been packed away since we moved and this is her first night sleeping with it.  She kept lifting her legs to look at it, so I pulled out the ipod camera.  She did me one better once the camera was out.  Pretty talented moves even when she's oh so tired.

and now..........

(I know you guys are curious)

I love watching her look at her Sesame Street blanket! She is so cute I can't stand it! I love how she rubs her little eyes because she is so tired but still is just smiling the whole time. When I had her a few weeks ago she did that rocking until she sat up thing. We were very impressed. I had just changed her diaper and left her lying there on the floor and was talking to Randee and she just started rocking and rocking and we decided we just needed to watch to see where that was going.

And the little video of Scout cracks me up. I love the look on her face when she says she is going to sing a song about it. I can't wait to spend some time with them in Wyoming in a couple of weeks. yay!

I can only post this as anonymous, so this is Sue. Can't figure out how to post a comment as Sue.

Did she really get up on her own on the floor with nothing on her legs? If so, you witnessed her first time- after working on that move for a very long time. She has gotten close for a while now, but hasn't made it all the way without assistance (at this point, assistance only needs be a blanket on her legs.) Huge step for her.

I love the video of Scout too (no matter how annoyed I was at her for still being awake). It was way way past her bedtime and she was still wound up- just noticed it was the night after Halloween.....that explains it.

I'm pretty sure she did it with nothing on her legs. I can't think of what would have been on her legs except she was wearing her jeans. Does that count? Wait, she might have had her blanket on her legs. After I changed her diaper I had been throwing her blanket over her and taking it off real quick to make her laugh, so the blanket might have been on her.

It's funny how a blanket adds just enough weight to bring her over the edge. Makes me laugh.
